The first thing that people discover here is the laid back life style and friendly people.  Some might say it is even too laidback.  Nevertheless, living in Spring Branch, on the Guadalupe River or at Canyon Lake or one many charming communities around, changes things.  While there are a few C-stores around, the big fancy grocery stores and department stores are miles away.  No you won't starve.  There are plenty of restaurants, though not many of the fast food chains you may have come accustomed to in the city.  We love the water and the hills and the scrub oaks. Finding a "Texas Heart" fossil while walking your property is not unlikely. 

Homes range from small weekender cabins and manufactured homes to large lakefront mansions - and everything in between.  You might find the house of your dreams on a "city-sized" lot or on large acreage.

The people are as diverse as the houses we live in.  Some are retired and some still trudge off to work everyday. Many have boats - sail and power and many don't.  One thing we share is a love of the Texas Hill Country and the many ways our lives are enriched just by getting to live here.
